This phone does has edge when it comes to brightness compare to A54ย and Galaxy S23FE.
Display and Built:
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G comes with a 6.6-inch screen size and a super-aMOLED display with a resolution 1080×2340 pixels (FHD+). The good thing is that Samsung has gotten rid of plastic and now has an aluminum frame. The front has Gorilla Victus Plus protection, while the back panel has Gorilla Glass Protection. This is very first time Samsung using Gorilla Glass Victus protection in mid range segment.
The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G metal frame is entirely flat, with no curves at the edges of the display or back panel, just as the Samsung Galaxy S24 and S24+. However, there are no visible sharp edges, so using it one- or two-handedly won’t cause you any trouble. The S24 ultra has sharp edges which might be uncomfortable for some users.
Samsung phones have always seemed easy to reach and operate with their buttons. That’s the only device on which the Key Island might be helpful: those with hidden fingerprint sensors integrated into the power button. Also, Samsung chose to use a textured coating over the whole frame, with the exception of the Key Island region, which shines more when light strikes it directly.
Camera:
Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has triple camera setup of 50MP primary camera+12MP ultra wide angle camera + 5MP Macro camera. It has also OIS support and can shoot video at 3840×2160 @ 30 fps & 1920×1080 @ 60 fps. The front facing camera is of 32MP. Even in mid range the photos that we take from other smartphones are not that great, specially in low light but this smartphone is different, it has better night photos take good photos in low light.
The noise in the photo has reduced thanks to Samsung camera algorithm.
Taking about videos, it can capture 4K@30 frames per second with electronic stabilization on the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has drawn interest from people who enjoy taking videos while traveling. Regretfully, the outcomes are unimpressive; videos exhibit a great deal of jitter, especially at night.
Overall, the primary camera’s performance is flawless. During the day, images exhibit good detail and dynamic range, while at night, the previously discussed severe noise reduction makes for clearer images.
The selfie camera performs admirably most of the time. In low light, it produces unsteady images, particularly when using the screen flash and the automatic Night mode. However, during the day and in well-lit indoor environments, selfie quality is more than respectable andย you can use it for social media.
Performance:
We were surprised by the Galaxy A55’s performance. Samsung’s Exynos-powered mid-range phones have often let us down. While they seem powerful on paper, they are often an unoptimized in real life. This was especially noticeable with the Galaxy A54 from the previous year. It is predecessor of Samsung Galaxy A55 5G.
However, those problems are absent on the Galaxy A55. Although we are aware that the Exynos 1480 processor within this phone boasts impressive specificationsโsuch as a new GPU that makes use of AMD’s RDNA graphics architectureโit also appears that Samsung has started to take software optimization seriously this year.
For whatever reason, using the Galaxy A55 is smooth and seamless. The user interface animations can occasionally be a little jerky, especially when launching or switching between two apps. However, the A55 can feel just as fluid as a Galaxy S23 or Galaxy S24 when everything is operating as it should.
Galaxy A55 comes with OneUI6.0 , though it has One UI it does have all the features compare to S24. You will not get Galaxy Ai functionality in A55.

It has a 5000mAh battery and can easily last for one day thanks to the new Exynos chip. If you are using it for heavy gaming purposes, you will have to charge at night. This smartphone does not come with a charger; you will have to buy a separate 25-watt charger.

Verdict:
Particularly in terms of device performance, the Galaxy A55 represents a true return to form. We have a mid-range Galaxy phone with an Exynos chip that is optimized right out of the box and won’t require months of updates to perform like any phone in its segment should for what appears to be the first time. So if you have money to spend Approx. 40K then you can buy this smartphone. But I would not recommend this smartphone as it is too costly instead buy iQOO neo 9 pro which comes with Snapdragon 8 gen 2 which will cost you around 35K (Rs. 34,999).
