The Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme 2024 registration period will end tomorrow, according to the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA). Through the official website, pminternship.mca.gov.in, qualified applicants can apply for a variety of internship openings. Over the next five years, the program, which supports young people’s professional growth, hopes to help 10 million people.

Opportunities for Internships

There are 80,000 internship positions available in 24 industries under the PM Internship Scheme 2024, which is being led by renowned firms such as Mahindra & Mahindra, L&T, Tata Group, and Jubilant FoodWorks. Banking, financial services, energy & oil, FMCG, manufacturing, travel, and hospitality are among the industries that are accessible.

Qualifications

Candidates must be between the ages of 21 and 24 and have completed high school or higher secondary school in order to be eligible for the PM Internship Scheme 2024. They also need to have a Polytechnic Institute diploma, an ITI certificate, or a degree such a BA, BSc, BCom, BCA, BBA, or B Pharma.

Procedures for Applying for the PM Internship Scheme

Step 1: Visit pminternship.mca.gov.in, the official website.
Step 2: Click the “Register” link and fill out the necessary information.

Step 3: Following information submission, the system will use your input to create a resume.
Step 4: Choose your choices, including region, industry, and credentials, then apply for up to five internships.
Step 5: Download the confirmation sheet for your records and submit your application.

Details of the Stipend

Throughout their internship, participants will be paid a stipend of Rs 5,000 per month. The host firm will donate Rs 500 of this sum through its CSR funds, with the government covering the remaining Rs 4,500. Additionally, the plan adheres to the reservation guidelines for Other Backward Classes (OBC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Scheduled Castes (SC).
