OnePlus 13R India Price Launch- Perfect Flagship killer?

OnePlus recently launched its flagship smartphone, of the two phones one of them is the OnePlus 13R which is affordable and has great hardware.

The OnePlus 13 series is now available in India, but the one that catches the eye is the OnePlus 13R. The OnePlus 13 is a powerful flagship device that combines top-tier technology with the greatest Android experience. However, the OnePlus 13 might not be the best choice for customers this year. For me, the OnePlus 13R is better than the OnePlus 13 because of its hardware and performance. It is an almost perfect flagship under Rs. 50,000.

OnePlus 13R’s starting price is Rs. 42,999, it is powered by a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 chipset which is the same chipset which is used in last year’s OnePlus flagship.

Reasons Why You Should Buy the OnePlus 13R

Design and build quality– This year OnePlus 13R has introduced a new design and has adopted a boxy design with flat edges. Despite giving the phone a sleeker look, this modification detracts from comfort because the flat sides are less ergonomic for prolonged usage. It is the first OnePlus phone with a durable aluminum frame and the latest Gorilla Glass 7i on both sides.
Display– The OnePlus 13R features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display. The display supports a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness can go up to 4500nits. The display offers outstanding brightness and clarity whether you’re streaming HDR video, playing games, or viewing 4K material. Furthermore, even with wet hands, the Aqua Touch 2.0 function guarantees seamless operation. The symmetrical bezels, which work in tandem with the flat display to provide a larger and more immersive viewing experience, are another feature that we truly liked.
Battery– It has a massive battery with a capacity of 6000mAh and it can last for a day without any problem. Even with the charging speed significantly lowered to 80W (the charger is included in the package), the battery can still be fully charged in around an hour. Faster charging would have been a nice bonus, but this makes it a dependable travel partner.
Performance– The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 CPU, which was also used in the 2024 flagship OnePlus 12, and at least 12GB of RAM enable the OnePlus 13R to provide lag-free performance. Despite having a somewhat less expensive processor, it provides flagship performance. It can handle all big apps and games without any problem. The improved heat management guarantees steady performance under load, and multitasking is effortless. With its sleek and feature-rich Oxygen OS 15, which, in my opinion, not only provides the newest Android experience but also makes the phone enjoyable to use with customization choices and AI functions, the performance has also improved.
