Samsung Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 have been launched in India with the Mediatek Dimensity 6300 chipset. The Samsung Galaxy M16 features a triple rear camera and a 50-MP primary camera, while the Galaxy M06 has a 50-MP dual rear camera setup. The Marke also said that the M16 will get six years of upgrades.

The Samaung Galaxy M16 was launched with a base variant (4GB+128GB) priced at Rs. 11,499. With the same amount of storage, the 6GB and 8GB models cost Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,499, respectively. These are promotional prices that include a 1,000-rupee bank-based discount. The phone will be on sale on March 5 and comes in Thunder Black, Mint Green, and Blush Pink color options.
On the other hand, the Galaxy M06 is priced at Rs. 9,499 for the base variant and Rs. 10,999 for the 6GB + 128 GB. It comes in the colors of Sage Green and Blazing Black. The start of sales is scheduled for March 7. Amazon will be the place to buy the new phones.

It has been verified that the Galaxy M16 5G will get six Android updates and six years of security patches. For the Galaxy M06 5G, however, Samsung promises four generations of OS updates and security patches. The Galaxy M06 5G has a 6.7-inch HD+ (720×1,600 pixel) screen, while the Galaxy M16 5G has a 6.7-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixel) Super AMOLED display.
A MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 128GB of inbuilt storage powers the Galaxy M16 5G and Galaxy M06 5G.
A 50-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera make up the triple rear camera unit of the Galaxy M16 5G. It has a 13-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. A 50-megapixel wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth camera are part of the dual back camera configuration on the Galaxy M06 5G. For taking selfies, it has an 8-megapixel front camera.
Both the phones have a fingerprint scanner, but rather than being front-mounted, it is side-mounted. Even though it is cheap, the phone comes with the Knox Vault-Feature for security and also supports Quick Share. Samsung Galaxy M16 comes with a Samsung Wallet and tap-to-pay functionality. Both of the phones are packed with 5000mAh batteries and support 25W fast charging.
