UPSC civil service exam 2024 results are out; a total of 1009 candidates have qualified for various services. Shakti Dubey secured 1st rank while Harshita Goyal and Dongre Archit Parag got 2nd and 3rd rank respectively.
In the end, the Commission nominated 1009 applicants (725 men and 284 women) for appointment to various Services. Three women and two men make up the top five of the ultimately eligible applicants. In the 2024 Civil Services Examination, Ms. Shakti Dubey achieved the top spot. Political science and international relations were her elective subjects, and she passed the test. She graduated from the University of Allahabad with a B.Sc. in biochemistry.
With Political Science & International Relations as her elective, Harshita Goyal, a B.Com. Graduated from the MS University of Baroda, placed second.
Dongre Archit Parag, a graduate of VIT, Vellore, placed third in his class with philosophy as an elective. He has a degree in electronics engineering. Akash Garg and Shah Margi Chirag, who placed fourth and fifth, respectively, were also engineering students.
Additionally, 45 people with benchmark disabilitiesโ12 who are orthopedically handicapped, eight who are visually challenged, sixteen who are hearing impaired, and nine who have multiple disabilitiesโare among the suggested candidates.
The candidates will be suggested for appointment to the Central Services (Groups “A” and “B”), Indian Police Service, Indian Administrative Service, and Indian Foreign Service.
