OnePlus Nord 5 series is set to be launched today in India. Today, OnePlus is launching two handsets: the OnePlus Nord 5 and the Nord CE 5. According to reports, the OnePlus Nord 5 will be equipped with a 50MP dual camera, and a Sony LYT-600 sensor will be used for the primary camera.

At the OnePlus Summer Launch Event, scheduled to start at 2:00 PM IST, the OnePlus Nord 5 series will be unveiled. OnePlus India’s website, official YouTube channel, and social media accounts will all stream the launch event live.

According to reports, the OnePlus Nord 5 might feature a 6.83-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor coupled with LPDDR5X RAM. Using the Snapdragon Elite Gaming technology, it is hinted to allow hardware-accelerated real-time ray tracing for gaming.
Regarding the camera, the phone will have two cameras on the back: a 50-megapixel primary camera with a Sony LYT-700 sensor and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens with a field-of-view (FoV) of 116 degrees. Additionally, it is confirmed to launch with a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 front-facing camera for video calls and selfies.
It is expected to include a 5,200mAh battery that supports 80W SuperVOOC charging.
OnePlus Nord CE 5 Specification
According to rumors, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 might sport a 6.77-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. OnePlus has officially confirmed that it will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 8350 Apex with Mali-G615 and LPDDR5X RAM.
Regarding optics, the phone is rumored to include two back cameras, with the 50-megapixel 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT-600 main rear sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) capability serving as the focal point.
The 7,100mAh battery of the OnePlus Nord CE 5 is verified to enable 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The business claims that the phone can be fully charged in 59 minutes. In the meantime, a 10-minute charge allows for up to six hours of YouTube viewing.

The pricing of the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be approximately Rs. 30,000 in India, which is also the price at which the Nord 4 was released.
