OnePlus Watch 3 launch date: The Chinese brand OnePlus is gearing up to unveil OnePlus products, like the OnePlus 13 series and the OnePlus Watch 3. The event will be held on January 7th, 2025. OnePlus has not revealed details regarding the OnePlus Watch 3, but it will be better than its previous watches.
Earlier GSM arena said OnePlus might have a rotating crown, which we generally see in traditional watches, though OnePlus is not the first to introduce a rotating crown in smartwatches. This new feature will improve user experience and will be user-friendly interface.
Due in large part to the fact that OnePlus met consumer demands for a feature-rich Wear OS wristwatch with exceptional battery life, the OnePlus Watch 2 was a significant improvement over its predecessor. The OnePlus Watch 3 will expand on that concept, per a SmartPrix leak.
Other than the rotating crown, the OnePlus Watch 3 will have all the features that a smartwatch has, like a heart rate sensor, SpO2, ECG functionality, etc. The ECG feature might not be available in all regions due to regulatory requirements. The OnePlus will be powered by the Snapdragon W5 Gen 1 SoC, which is the processor for smartwatches. The smartwatch will run smoothly; there is no doubt, because of the processor. We have seen this same chipset in the Oppo Watch X.
It will probably include 32GB of storage and 2GB of RAM, which will enable alerts, fitness monitoring, and seamless app execution. It is anticipated that the gadget will operate on RTOS and Watch OS 5, guaranteeing a smooth and useful user experience.
According to reports, the smartwatch’s battery has a capacity of more than 500 mAh, which could provide a significant lifespan for daily usage. LTE connection is expected to be supported by some versions, allowing users to stream music, send messages, and make calls without an attached smartphone.
One variant will have a 500mAh battery while another variant will have a 648mAh battery, which was also recently certified by FCC. Additionally, Wear OS 5 is reportedly included in the new version, suggesting that the Watch 2 and 2R will also receive that upgrade soon. The new hardware changes will increase the prices of OnePlus watches, let’s hope the brand does not increase too much.
This is just speculation all the details will be released at the event. For more details and tech news do follow our Google news and telegram.
