After the main event, Samsung showcased its new product, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, which will be released soon. Earlier, people thought it would be the Galaxy S25 Slim, but Samsung came up with Google. The S25 Edge could directly compete, with the Apple iPhone Air which might be also slim and stylish build.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Design
According to early leaks, the Galaxy S25 Edge will have a lightweight form factor and a minimalist design. It will have a dual-camera setup inside an oval-shaped camera module at the back, which sets it apart from the standard S25 model’s triple-camera layout. Samsung may remove some features to keep the device’s overall design sleek, but it should provide a good balance of performance and style for consumers who want a smaller smartphone.
According to current speculations, the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s profile is 8.2mm thick, while this one maybe 6.4mm thin. That’s what separates 0.25 inches from 0.32 inches, which would be quite thin.
S25 Egde Camera
If this is the final design then we will see only two cameras. compared to Galaxy S25, S25 Plus and S25 Ultra. The two cameras might be the main camera and ultrawide lens, which is just speculation as Samsung did not release the specs.
On the other hand iPhone 17 Air is rumored to have a single camera, which could be a bummer.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Release date
So the question arises when will the device come out? The device will come out in May 2025 (Tentative). Previous speculations about the Galaxy S25 Slim suggested that it would arrive in May, which would fall between the standard S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 that are due out this summer (probably in late July).
So, the other big question is what will be the price? Well, this is something we can guess, the price will not be higher than the S25 ultra and S25. This should be an ideal case if Samsung decides to launch under 80K then it might be appealing for Indian customers.
