At its debut, the business declared that it would receive four years of security upgrades and three years of Android updates. Last year, the company introduced the Funtouch OS 15 upgrade for international markets based on Android 15. The company is now extending the Android updates for iQOO 12 and revising its update strategy.
In a post on X,ย iQOO India announced that they will be revising the software update policy for iQOO 12. The company said in a post that they will be extending the Android update for a year which means now customers will get 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates. It adds a year to the software support period. By taking this action, the business highlights its commitment to providing consumers with “security, longevity, and performance.”

Users may now take advantage of ongoing support until 2028, providing them with an additional year of peace of mind, even though the gadget was originally guaranteed upgrades until 2027. This prolonged support is a good improvement for anyone who would rather cling to their gadgets for longer.
