In recent years, Android phones have made it easier to connect with Macs despite not being in the ecosystem. Android users can share files with Apple users, and now, a new feature is coming with the latest Oppo Find N5.
Oppo uses Color OS UI and its design director Chen Xi posted an image on theย Chinese platform Weibo showing a MacOS desktop running on Oppo Fold N5. The MacOS desktop is displayed on the top half of the foldable screen, while a virtual keyboard is displayed on the bottom half. The latter has what appears to be a trackpad shortcut in the lower right corner along with a command key. Take a look at the page’s top image.
Oppo Find N5 plays nicely with Mac
Thanks to the O+interaction feature, the Oppo Find N5 works well with Mac OS. The image shows a MacOS desktop running remotely on a foldable. Furthermore, the exec notes that this feature is possible โregardless of distance,โ suggesting the ability to control your Mac over the internet.
This is not the first Android smartphone that lets you connect remotely to a Mac. Earlier Vivo phones including foldable smartphones offer this feature only in China, but they use Origin OS skin. You may use a wired or wireless connection to operate your Mac once you have installed the vivo Office Kit software.
Whether OPPO will add this function to international Find N5 models is unknown. However, as it would be a useful tool for productivity in an emergency, we sincerely hope the corporation introduces this option outside of China.

It has been established that the phone has a triple back camera system, a Snapdragon 8 Elite CPU, 50W wireless charging, and IPX6/IPX8/IP69 classifications.
