Previously, Realme introduced P3x and P3 Pro in feb 2024, and now Realme has recently introduced Realme P3 and P3 Ultra. If you thinking of buying this phone then do read the Realme P3 review.
Design and Display
The phone features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate support and a peak brightness of 2000 nits. It has a balanced appearance thanks to the symmetrical bezels, and the AMOLED display produces rich blacks and vivid colors that improve the viewing experience overall.
The phone is pleasant to handle, although it lacks a particularly high-end feel due to its plastic frame. Nevertheless, its triple IP classifications (IP66, IP68, and IP69) provide strong defense against dust, water, and high-pressure jets, demonstrating its remarkable endurance.
Cameras
A 16MP front camera is used for selfies and video chats, while the Realme P3 has a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor at the back. Since an ultra-wide lens increases the camera system’s versatility and the depth sensor adds little usefulness, I would have chosen it over the latter.
The primary camera produces crisp, clear photographs in well-lit areas, while contrast and color are somewhat enhanced. This produces visually stunning photos that are ideal for social networking. An interesting addition to the camera’s capabilities is the ability to take live photographs, which capture scenes for up to three or four seconds. In daytime, the selfie camera also does well, capturing fine face details and boosting contrast and color in the process.
Even with Night Mode turned on, both cameras have trouble in low light. Images from the selfie camera are noticeably softer than those from the primary camera, which have a little noise in the darker areas and seem somewhat fuzzy. However, as many phones in this market share similar difficulties, the Realme P3 is not the only phone affected by this problem.
The one drawback is the lack of OIS support. The competitors have OIS which helps to improve video stabilisation.
Performance
The latest Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 SoC powers the Realme P3, which also has 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage that can be expanded to 1TB via a microSD card and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The chipset is quite powerful and provides a seamless experience for daily use. The phone manages these activities with ease and without any discernible latency or slowdowns, whether you’re messaging, streaming films, playing light games, or perusing social media.
Battery
The phone comes with a suitable charger and a 6,000mAh battery that supports 45W rapid charging. Larger 6,000mAh batteries are becoming increasingly common in Android phones, which is fantastic because they often result in considerable increases in battery life. If you value quick charging, this won’t let you down because it takes a little over an hour to get from 20% to 100%.

Verdict
The 6 GB+128 GB model of the Realme P3 costs Rs 16,999, while the top-end 8 GB+256 GB model costs Rs 18,999. With its beautiful display, powerful cameras, and seamless performance all housed in a sturdy IP69-rated casing, the phone provides superb value for the money. It does have several disadvantages, though, such the absence of OIS and the crowded software experience brought on by pre-installed applications.
