Samsung Galaxy S24 One UI 7 update was delayed due to a bug, but now the first one to receive the update is the Galaxy S24 series, and all other smartphone updates have been delayed till July. The One UI 7 update for foldables was abruptly stopped a few days after it was first released, coinciding with the Galaxy S24 series. Users speculated about possible defects or optimization issues because Samsung never revealed the cause of the brief delay.
The rollout has now resumed in South Korea, with indications from SamMobile and SammyGuru indicating that more global regions will follow soon. This indicates that any underlying problems have probably been fixed because it includes stable versions for both the Flip and Fold series devices.

According to 9to5Google, the Galaxy S24, S24 Plus, and S24 Ultra will be the first to receive the update. These phones, along with the Z Fold6 and Z Flip 6, were among those affected by the abrupt pause. The company states that these phones “remain planned for April, assuming Samsung can resolve the most recent issues that appeared to have delayed the rollout.”
According to a new One UI 7 schedule, Samsung appears to have pushed back several devices till July. Although those timeframes are no longer applicable for the majority of devices, the initial schedule was revised earlier in the month. The majority appear to have been delayed by one month.

The updates are a little bit slow, and in the coming months, Google will announce Android 16 and S26 series will definitely pack with Android 16 with One UI 8 skin. So, OneUI 7 could have very short shelf life for other galaxy devices.
Although the new One UI 7 schedule indicates which month each device should receive One UI 7, it might not precisely specify which devices should receive the update in what order. Although this is the most recent timetable available, Samsung may release another one with this.
