Majin Bu, a tipster, leaked photographs of the iPhone 17 Pro series cases, and they give an idea of how the phone will look.

The camera island is the most striking change. It has grown considerably. Although they were placed on a larger, redesigned platform, Apple maintained its well-known triple-lens configuration. Compared to previous iPhone designs, this new form factor is very different.
The new camera interface has been likened by many to the one in Google’s Pixel phones. It appears from this that Apple is moving away from its usual minimalist design approach. The company’s new aggressive style is a significant departure from its previous pattern.

Official cases for the iPhone 17 Pro have also been leaked. They are available in several stylish colors. The casings seem to have been made to complement and draw attention to the new camera module. They provide a more accurate representation of the phone’s appearance under normal operating conditions. Compared to what Apple has recently displayed, the design appears to be more vivid and expressive.
Interestingly, only the iPhone 17 Pro will use this design. The design of the standard iPhone 17 is likely to be identical to that of the iPhone 16. A new one, the iPhone 17 Air, is also the subject of rumors. It may have a smaller camera bump and a slimmer body. This can be for those who like light, thin phones. At this point, it’s unclear how the supporters will react to the modifications. The bold, new look may be loved by some. Apple’s classic, unadorned appearance may appeal to some people.
A LiDAR scanner and three 48MP sensorsโone of which may be a periscope telephoto lensโare expected to be included in the 17 Pro triple camera configuration. According to several reports this year, the iPhone 19 series is probably going to get the biggest updates and modifications. However, for what it’s worth, the iPhone 17 Pro might not be a design-look-alike after all. Before the major iPhone 17 debut in September of this year, the new iPhone 17 series will include the iOS 19 version, which will be revealed at the WWDC 2025 keynote in June.
Regardless, it is undeniable that Apple is trying something new. The users’ responses will determine if this is a success or a failure.
