Oppo has launched the A5 Pro in the Indian market with two variants, 8 GB+128 GB and 8 GB+256 GB, priced at Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. The smartphone comes with two color options: Feather Blue and Mocha Brown. Fans can buy these smartphones from Amazon, Flipkart, and Oppo stores.

The Oppo A5 Pro features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD HD+ display with 720×1604 pixel resolution. The display has a 120Hz refresh rate and has Gorilla Glass 7i protection on top. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, which has impressive performance and is best suited for mid-range devices. The Oppo A5 Pro comes in two options: 8GB RAM + 128 GB and 8GB + 256 GB. The phone runs on Android 15 with ColorOS and will receive 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patch updates.
For optics, the phone features a 50MP main camera and a 2MP monochrome camera. I feel there is no need for a monochrome camera; instead, they should have added an ultrawide camera. Then, considering its pricing, I see why the brand chose a monochrome camera. The front camera is 8 MP, which can take decent selfies.
For security, the brand has added a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It also has dust and water protection, and Oppo claims it has an IP66+IP68+IP69 rating, which is for dust and water resistance.
The phones have a 5800mAh battery and support for 45W fast charging, which is reasonable given their cost.
