Apple is expected to launch its latest smartphone in the coming months, in September. According to recent leaks, the camera will see some significant improvements, not just a new design but also a new camera.
The main upgrade is in the front shooter, which was very important. The iPhone has had a great front camera until now, but for a few years, we haven’t seen any new improvements. According to recent reports, the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max may finally receive a huge upgrade with a 48MP telephoto lens, which would be a significant improvement over the 12MP sensor now available in the iPhone 16 Pro series.
The back cameras aren’t the only upgrades. According to reports, Apple may also improve the front-facing camera. A 24MP selfie camera, which would double the resolution of the present 12MP TrueDepth sensor, may be included with the iPhone 17 and Pro models.

The Apple iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max will receive additional enhancements. Dual video recording and adjustable aperture may be natively supported by Apple for the first time, enabling users to record with both the front and back cameras at the same time.
Regarding the display, Apple may finally provide its entry-level devices with a more fluid viewing experience. Compared to the 60Hz displays used in the iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, the regular iPhone 17 may have a refresh rate of 120Hz.

The upcoming iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models will be powered by Apple’s next-generation A19 Pro Chipset, which is expected to be based on a 3nm process.
