Samsung Galaxy 7th generation flip phone is soon going to be released in the Indian market, and according to leaks, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE might pack a superior chipset compared to the regular Galaxy Flip 7.
The future Galaxy flagships (the S26 series and the 7th-generation foldables) have been the subject of wildly fluctuating chipset speculations. Although Samsung has consistently used Snapdragon CPUs to power its foldables, the Exynos 2500 series’ delayed development raises the possibility that it may eventually appear in foldables, at least the Z Flip 7. This conjecture is confirmed by the most recent disclosure.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip FEย on Geekbench
A Samsung phone has been spotted on Geekbench with the model number SM-F761N. Looking at the details, it is believed to be the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE.
A prime core clocked at 3.21GHz, three cores ticking at 2.59GHz, two cores clocked at 2.90GHz, and four cores capped at 1.96GHz make up the phone’s architecture. The Exynos 2400 SoC seems to be linked to these CPU speeds.
According to the Geekbench listing, the Galaxy Z Flip FE should run Android 16. In single-core testing, the phone received 1,930 points, while in multi-core testing, it received 6,276 points. According to the description, the phone has 7.06GB of RAM, which, in theory, may be equivalent to 8 GB.
Regarding Samsung’s choice of chipset for the next generation of foldables, there have been several rumors and conjectures. According to early sources, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE would include an Exynos 2400e SoC/2500 chipset. However, according to a new rumor, the FE variant would come with the same specs as the Galaxy Z Flip 6 from the previous year, which is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC.
In certain areas, including India, Samsung’s Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ from the previous year featured the Exynos 2400 chipset. Since the beginning, the company has continued to use Qualcomm in its foldable Galaxy Z series handsets. To keep the price of the phone as low as possible, Samsung is rumored to be packing the Galaxy Z Flip FE with watered-down internals.
According to rumors, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE will use the Snapdragon Chipset while the regular Galaxy Z Flip 7 will be powered by the Exynos chipset. This is the reason why the FE flip might be better in day-to-day life performance.
