Huawei Nova 14 series

The Huawei Nova 14 series is set to launch this month in China. The phone will be powered by the Kirin chipset and will run on Harmony OS 5.

The predecessor Nova 13 series, with aย  50MP variable aperture camera and a 60MP selfie camera, caught the attention of phone enthusiasts and noted that even without running on Android, the Harmony OS was very useful. With HarmonyOS 5, its successor, the Nova 14 series, is expected to improve the game with 15,000+ native apps and a 30% better user interface. According to Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station, the Nova 14 series may debut as early as this month. It is compatible with Huawei’s updated MateBook, which also runs HarmonyOS 5 on proprietary ARM CPUs.

Huawei Nova 14 Series expected specs

The Huawei Nova 14 and 14 Pro will be powered by the Kirin 9-series chipset, as per Digital Chat Station. The phone will offer 12GB RAM and coupled with 256/512 GB storage. According to rumors, there is also an Ultra variant that will offer a 1TB storage option.

Improved imaging is promised with a new multi-spectral camera sensor and a 12MP telephoto lens that matches the Nova 13 Pro. According to reports, all versions have 6.7โ€“6.8โ€ฒโ€ฒ OLED screens with refresh rates of 120 Hz.

The Huawei Nova 13, 13 Pro, and 13i are the three models of the Nova 13 series. The Nova 13 Pro is distinguished by its 8MP ultrawide shooter, 50MP primary camera with variable aperture of f/1.4โ€“4.0, and 12MP telephoto lens (69mm, almost 3x zoom). It has two cameras on the front: an 8MP telephoto (52mm, 2x) and a 60MP ultra-wide (17mm) lens.

The AI-powered Celia assistant and HarmonyOS 5’s “Ark Engine” are said to improve multitasking and cross-device synchronization. The starting price for the series might be CNY 3,000, or $420. Vivo’s V50 may be challenged by the Ultra’s flagship vibes, but worldwide availability is still uncertain.

Huawei Nova Release Date in India

The Huawei Nova 14 series is not going to be released in India because it has been banned by the government. The Huawei phone is not completely banned, but the government has put restrictions on the 5G network for national security purposes. So, in short, they can’t launch a phone in India.
