Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has launched its new premium lineup by launching the Honda Rebel 500 in India. The cruiser will first be offered in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Gurugram and sold only at a few BigWing Topline shops. According to HMSI, deliveries will start in June 2025.
“We are thrilled to introduce the internationally acclaimed Rebel 500 in India,” stated Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, at the introduction. International markets have responded overwhelmingly to this eagerly awaited cruiser motorbike, and we do not doubt that Indian riders would find it appealing as well. The Rebel 500 is a statement of performance, elegance, and independence rather than just a motorbike. We think it will appeal greatly to both experienced and up-and-coming riders nationwide because of its unique look, powerful performance, and Honda’s renowned engineering.

The bike has an all-black aesthetic, with each part sporting the svelte Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic finish that is only offered in one version in India. Both rider and pillion seats are included, and the Rebel 500 has a full LED lighting system with a retro-cool circular headlamp that exudes vintage design.
