Xiaomi has surprised everyone with its homegrown processor, though rumors started spreading that Xiaomi is developing a mobile chipset for its devices. Now, Xiaomi has revealed that they have developed the Xring 01 chipset, which will debut soon with the Xiaomi 15S Pro. As per the initial benchmarks, the chipset would be on par with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, placing it in the top range.
Xiaomi 15s Pro Xring 01 Geekbench Score
Xiaomi is serious with the Xring 01 processor, and it’s not making the same mistake that Google made with the Tensor Chipset. With state-of-the-art technology and performance, the company’s proprietary processor is ready to compete in the flagship market. Xring 01 is manufactured on a second-generation 3nm node. The hardware remains a mystery; however, the leaks reveal 1 x ARM Cortex-X925 prime core, 3 ARM Cortex-A725 performance cores, and 4 x ARM Cortex-A520 efficiency cores for the CPU.
The reputable leakers @UniverseIce and @Jukanlosreve cite the Xiaomi 25042PN24C’s Geekbench scores. According to some reports, the phone is the Xiaomi 15S Pro, which will use the Snapdragon 8 Elite to replace the Xiaomi 15 Pro.
The single score is 3119, and the multi-core score is 9673, which is slightly behind the Snapdragon 8 Elite and ahead of the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. We don’t know how it will perform in real life, but on paper, it is giving tough competition.
To compare, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which is powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite, is just slightly ahead. The single-core score is 3060, which is less compared to the Xiaomi Xring processor’s single-core score, and the multi-core score is 9833, which is ahead the Xring processor.
In the future, we might see a lot of smartphones adopting the Xring processor. The Indian market will be filled with this processor, and it looks like Snapdragon might have a tough road ahead.
The Xring O1 boasts a 10-core CPU rather than the typical 8-core design, according to Geekbench. Of course, Geekbench’s inability to recognize the new chip may be an error. One of the performance clusters has a clock speed of 3.9 GHz, which is also quite good. The Dimensity 9400+, in contrast, can achieve 3.73 GHz. Regarding the GPU, the Immortalis-G925, rather than an Imagination design, is mentioned with the new SoC.
Xiaomi is hosting a big event on May 22, which is coming this Thursday, and Xiaomi might introduce the Xiaomi 15S Pro, Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra, and Xiaomi YU7. The processor might debut the same day, as per reports.
Xiaomi 15S Pro Features
According to leaks, the phone will support UWB radio tech. This means users can connect to other devices more securely, which is essential for those who want to connect with smart cars. The identical model was 3C certified in China earlier this year. That test verified 90W maximum fast charging, which is a significant improvement over previous Xiaomi phone charging speeds. This gadget is most likely the Xiaomi 15S Pro based on these features.
UWB technology was introduced by Xiaomi a few years back, and the MIX 4 was the first smartphone to use this tech. It has features like one-finger connection, which makes linking devices very simple. But we didn’t see this tech in Xiaomi’s flagship devices.
UWB is now returning with the Xiaomi 15S Pro. The time is crucial since UWB technology is a major component of smart car features, and Xiaomi is also joining the electric vehicle industry. These consist of precise location monitoring, improved security with keyless entry, and more intelligent and smooth device connections.
The specs have not been released by the brand, so we don’t know camera details, display, and price. We anticipate additional leaks and teases in the coming weeks because Xiaomi phones are not immune to leaks, as we are all aware.
