Android 15: Only for developers?
Google released its first developer preview for Android 15, and developers can download and test it. Google’s prime focus is on the privacy and security of the device; not just that, Google will also be improving its camera app so that smartphones take better advantage of hardware. The developer preview also focuses on managing heat and processing power.
Google released an early version for developers so that they could build their apps for the next-generation OS, or Android OS.

Google always releases its developer preview for developers, but normal users can also download it and taste the new features. A bit of a warning: if you have a Pixel as a secondary device only, then you should try downloading it because developer previews are not that stable and might break your device. Users who want to download Android 15 must understand that the developer preview includes a lot of bugs and that a few apps have also become incompatible.
To install the Android 15 Developer Preview, you need to flash your device with the Android Flash Tool. Then you can enjoy Android 15 on your device.
Google might release Android 15 beta in April or May, so if you want a bug-free experience, wait a few months. For the stable version, wait until July. The final version might be expected to be released sometime in the fall.
Android 15 developer preview: What’s new?
The Android 15 developer preview focuses on user privacy and security. Google camera improvements and more.
Privacy and security:
With the most recent iteration of Privacy Sandbox, which improves privacy on Android, Google is enhancing its privacy. By preventing data access from third parties, it enhances privacy with regard to mobile advertising. Users using Android 15 will also be able to share a portion of their screen as opposed to the entire screen.
Google is also improving its camera hardware and will give developers more control over it; this includes the Google Pixel camera and GPUs. These enhanced controls allow users to connect MIDI 2.0 devices via USB, change the flash strength, and brighten the camera preview, among other things.
