Recently, CMF launched its first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, with the same similar specifications as the as the Realme P1, which was launched earlier in India. These phones have similar specifications and prices, so comparisons are much needed so that users can select the best phone out of them. So let’s find out (CMF Phone 1 vs. Realme P1) which one is best.
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1- Design and Build Quality:
It comes in Peacock Green and Phoenix Red, with a unique feather texture pattern on the back. It has a big camera at the back with a rounded design, and the edges are flat and sharp, which makes the smartphone more slippery in the hand.
On the other hand, CMF comes in bright colorsโblack, light green, orange, and blueโwhich are exclusive to India. Orange and Blue have a vegan leather design, but other variants have a matte finish at the back. CMF Phone 1 reminds the users of old phones where you can remove the back panel, but CMF phone comes with modular panel with twist; you need to remove screws to open the panel.
There is also an accessory point; it is similar to the dial that CMF has used in the neckband, but with this dial you can use it for attaching some accessories. With the help of four exclusive user-removable screws, you can personalize the rear panel and add several accessories. However, this adaptability comes at a price: the accessories cost Rs 799, and the swappable panels cost Rs 1,499 each.
Both the devices is great but CMF stands out because ofย modular design (Plastic Build), on the other hand Realme P1 has plastic build.
No lets dive deep into display Both smartphones comes with 6.67 inch AMOLED display. In terms of colors, brightness, and visibility, the Realme P1 and CMF Phone 1 are virtually identical. With vibrant colors, they both provide excellent visibility both indoors and outside. To put it briefly, you won’t notice a change in the display if you choose one over the other.
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1: Performance
CMF Phone 1 is powered by a 4 nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, while Realme P1 has the 6 nm Dimensity 7050 chipset. 7300 is slightly better than 7050.
You can check the AnTuTu score above, and clearly CMF Phone is ahead of Realme P1. The score does not clear the idea; in reality, both smartphones are great, and in performance, both phones excel, but I would prefer a smartphone with a 4 nm processor. Daily tasks like reading social media, surfing the web, sending instant messages, streaming music and videos, and so on are easily completed by both phones. The tasks listed above, as well as more demanding games like BGMI, ran smoothly and without lag.
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1: Software
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1- Based on Android 14, Nothing OS 2.6, which features less bloatware and a stylish red-and-black theme with dotted font, is booted up on the CMF Phone 1. Except when a large app is running in the background, the UI is fluid, as we noted in our evaluation of the CMF Phone 1.

However, the Realme P1 is pre-installed with Realme UI 5.0, which is built on top of Android 14. The Realme P1 does, however, come with a considerable amount of bloatware and the dreaded Hot Apps and Hot Games folders, in contrast to the CMF Phone 1. Although folders may be disabled and this pre-installed app deleted, it is a little annoying to have them there in the first place. However, the lack of program closing animations makes the user interface feel faster and more fluid.
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1: Cameras
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1-Both of the smartphones comes with dual camera setup and has near identical lenses, Interestingly both have 50MPย and 2MP camera setup.
Budget smartphones does not have great cameras but in daylight the colors produced by image is impressive, and the image is sharp and solid but in low light the camera produces photos with warmer tones.
Furthermore, in strong lighting, the highlights are blown out by the primary camera. Instead of taking photos with the sun in your back, we advise taking them with it looking forward. The selfie camera performs well during the day but poorly at night.
The Realme P1, which has a similar camera configuration, likewise does okay during the daylightย but not as well at night. In certain situations, the smartphone’s edge detection is also inaccurate, and it overly enhances skin tones in portrait. Those who prefer natural-looking portrait pictures may find the device’s excessive beautifying to be off-putting, even while it produces good selfies.
Overall, the CMF Phone 1 is a better option because it isn’t beautifying photos. Again, though, that’s subjective, and some people could find the beautifying appealing. Though In my opinion CMF is better than Realme P1.
CMF Phone 1 vs Realme P1: Battery
A 5,000mAh battery powers the Realme P1 and the CMF Phone 1. But the latter offers 45W rapid charging, while the former only supports 33W. Unexpectedly, it took both devices an hour and twelve minutes to fully charge from zero in our charging test. With a full charge, these cellphones may easily last a day or two.
But after 6 months or a year everyone knows what happens to android phones battery.

Verdict:
Here, the CMF Phone 1 appears to be the superior value due to its unique design, lots of accessories, and cleaner OS. It is a better value for the money. There is no charger in the box plus it does not have bloatware problem like Realme P1.
Having said that, the Realme P1 is a good choice for anyone who value extra RAM/storage options, a straightforward design, and the included charger. But be aware that there will be camera beautifying problems as well as bloatware in the user interface.
In my opinion CMF is better choice than Realme – better cameras. no bloatware, lots of accessories and a good chipset.
