Moto G45 5G Review
Design and Build:
Nowadays most smartphones are using vegan leather; the Moto G45 is no exception, and the impressive thing about vegan leather is the grip we get while holding the phone. Most smartphones with a 5000mAh battery have thick designs, but that’s not the case with the Moto G45; this one has a slim design and is easy to carry. At the back we got a dual camera setup, and at the front we got a 6.5-inch HD+ display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also got Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The gadget is protected from dust and water splashes by an IP52 rating.
Performance:
The phone is under Rs. 10,000, so my expectations must not be high as it is not a premium smartphone. Well, firstly, this phone is great; it does not lag, and opening and closing the app is smooth, and there is no stutter while scrolling. You can also binge-watch web series without any problem. The one thing that stands out is that it does not have bloatware; only Google services are pre-installed.
The Moto G45 is powered by Snapdragon 6s Gen 3, which is similar to SD 6 Gen 1, but in the AnTuTu benchmark, 6s Gen 1 is ahead, but that does not mean 6s Gen 3 lacks power. It comes with 2 variants (4GB and 8GB RAM) and a single storage option of 128GB.
The phone has flawless performance but not for multi-tasking, and also you can play casual games; high-end games will struggle and you will experience frame drop. The overall performance is good and did not face any heating issue while casual gaming or charging.

Camera:
It has dual camera setup, primary camera is of 50MP and 2MP macro camera is also there, which is just useless. The primary camera takes great shots, and front camera is of 16MP which takes good photos, and you can use for video calling without any problem. Now lets talk about some problems.
The back camera takes great photos in daylight but in low light the photos are not that great, and the image takes time to process which is acceptable in affordable phones but it need to have faster image processing. The photos are great when phone is still but if you move your hand too much then photos might get blurry. The portrait photos are decent the blur is ok not that great, you can post photos on social media without any problem, no body will notice it anyway. The front portrait is not great and it struggles in low light.
Battery:
A 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging capabilities powers the Moto G45 5G. The device has a day or more of battery life. For me, it did, even while I was making heavy use of the phone as my main smartphone during the day. While watching Netflix I saw major drop.
However, despite the amazing battery life, the charging speed is not very fast. The Moto G45 5G requires more than 30 minutes to fully charge from 10% to 48%. When you plug it into a charger, it instantly charges if it is at zero percent, but it takes more than 1.5 hours to fully charge the gadget.
