Realme 13 Plus Price In India

After the launch of the Realme 13 Pro series, the brand is back with the new Realme 13 series. Two phones have been launched in the 13 series: Realme 13 and Realme 13 Plus.

The Realme 13 5G range, especially the “Plus” model that I’m evaluating, prioritizes performance over cameras in contrast to the Pro series. Another noteworthy feature of the Realme 13 Plus is its 80W rapid charging, which is uncommon in this market. It is powered by the Dimensity 7300 SoC from MediaTek.

Display and Build quality:

Realme 13 Plus has a curved real panel, and the feel of the phone is very impressive. The in-hand feel is very good because of the round edges. It comes in three colors: Victory Gold, Speed Green, and Dark Purple. The Realme 13+ features similar marble-like finishing touches, but a modest solid finish and some shimmers enhance its visual appeal.

The polycarbonate coating on all color variations has an IP65 rating, providing a respectable level of dust and water resistance. Realme has chosen to use standard ports and buttons, such as a USB-C port for charging, a dual SIM card tray, a power button, and a volume rocker.

Realme 13 Plus comes with a 6.67-inch AMOLED display and has 1080×2400 pixels resolution. The phone does not stutter or lag because of the 120Hz refresh rate and also has an 180Hz sampling rate, which ensures a great viewing experience.

Cameras:

A 50MP primary camera and a 2MP macro camera make up the Realme 13 Plus’s dual camera configuration. The Sony LYT-600 sensor, which is a decent sensor for a low-cost phone, is used in the primary camera. It does not support EIS, but it does support OIS. Additionally, there is a 2 MP macro camera, which users don’t need; instead, an ultrawide camera would be preferable. Within the hole-punch cutout on the front is a 16MP camera. Let’s see what these cameras can do.

Although it lacks an ultrawide camera, you can still take ultrawide photos because of the amazing 50MP primary camera. Although the images we took with the Realme 13 Plus are detailed and crisp, there may be some noise and grain in them. The primary issue with Chinese phones is that they soften pictures, which some users may find helpful but not everyone likes. With photographs’ excellent details, users won’t have any trouble posting them on social media, even with these minor issues.

The front camera takes great photos in daylight; the photos are crisp and sharp and also have details; the portrait shots were also great, though in low light the photos are average and not that impressive. The colors produced are also better compared to its competitors.

But I noticed that the Realme 13+’s portrait images weren’t always consistent. The bokeh effect in images is prevented by the glitch, which Realme should fix with an OTA update. Realme does fail to add bokeh in the background. The phone can record in 4K at 30 frames per second and in 1080p at 60 frames per second. The main camera, which has an OIS system, has good color reproduction and medium steadiness. If you are a content creator, then you can easily record videos and posts on YouTube or other social media platforms.

Performance:

Realme 13 plus is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, which is same processor that has been used in CMF phone 1. It comes with three variants 8GB+128GB/256GB and 12GB+256GB. The Realme 13+ performs admirably on benchmarks such as CPU Throttle, AnTuTu, and Geek Bench. Compared to the CMF Phone 1, which also uses the same processor, its results were somewhat higher.

The Realme 13 Plus has a single Geek Bench score of 1050 and a multicore score of about 2957. It has AnTuTu score of 7,39,074 which is impressive and quiet higher than CMF phone 1.

With some noticeable stutters, the MediaTek CPU and 8GB RAM provided a seamless performance. On YouTube, I  saw issues, particularly when auto-rotate was turned on. The user interface (UI) of Realme has to be improved as well, as there appear to be more pre-installed apps every year. Realme really need to work on bloatware’s and brand need to reduce pre-installed apps. Realme offers 2 years pf OS update and 3 years of security updates.

You can also play BGMI without any problem but if you play high intensive games there will be frame drops.

Battery:

A lot of customers will find it impressive that the charging pace is also extremely rapid. The phone charged from 20 percent to full power in under thirty minutes with the included charger. The phone comes with 80W charger and has 5000mAh.

Verdict:

If gaming and performance are important to you, the Realme 13+ will not disappoint with its elegant design. Even for those who are battery-focused, it’s a strong endorsement. Realme ought to think about lowering the quantity of pre-installed apps in order to enhance its user interface and experience. Need to learn from brands like Nothing, CMF and Motorola.
