Huawei unveiled its triple-foldable smartphone just hours after the iPhone 16 series launch. It’s a pretty good strategy because all the attention that Huawei needed they got. When the device is fully unfolded, it becomes like a tablet with a 10.2-inch large screen, and the brand claims the display is made of flexible materials and can be bent in different directions. The smartphone has a battery capacity of 5600 mAh.
How much Huawei Mate XT cost?
The base edition of the Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design, which comes with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage, is priced at CNY 19,999 (about Rs. 2,37,000, or $2,800). Huawei Mate XT: Features and Specifications
Its 10.2-inch (3,184 x 2,232 pixel) flexible LTPO OLED screen folds into two different sizes when folded: 7.9 inches (2,048 x 2,232 pixels) when folded once, and 6.4 inches (1,008 x 2,232 pixels) when folded twice.
The 10.2-inch foldable OLED display on the Huawei Mate XT offers a vast screen surface. A 5600mAh battery that supports 66-watt rapid charging powers the device.
It is available in three storage options: 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. All the variants have 16GB of RAM, and there have been no details on the design and chipset that powers the smartphone, but there is no doubt the chipset that has been used is a premium chipset.

The front camera is 8 MP, which can be used for selfies and video calls, and has a punch hole cutout.
With the help of two hinges, the triple-foldable design enables the gadget to fold into a Z-shape, forming three separate display regions. The screen can be partially unfolded by users.
The Huawei Mate XT Ultimate Design has USB 3.1 Type-C port, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6, 5G, and 4G LTE connectivity choices. In addition to having a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric verification, the phone has a 5,600mAh battery that can be charged both wired (66W) and wirelessly (50W). It weighs 298g and has dimensions of 156.7x73x12.8mm for a single screen, 156.7x143x7.45mm for a dual screen, and 156.7x219x3.6mm for a triple screen.
Maintenance Cost of Huawei Mate XT:

The cost of replacing the screen is 7,999 Chinese Yuan, or roughly Rs 94,000. Should you decide to preserve the old display, the cost of repair increases to 9,799 Chinese Yuan, or approximately Rs 1,15,000. Should the motherboard malfunction, a replacement might cost as much as 10,699 Chinese Yuan (about Rs 1,26,000) for the 1TB model. The cost of repairs alone could buy an upgraded iPhone 16.
