Apple is upgrading Siri with AI capabilities, meanwhile Samsung has also been upgrading Bixby voice assistant with AI capabilities and is started rolling roll out its upgraded voice assistant.
Samsung has started rolling out upgraded version of Bixby voice assistant. With this new update the enhanced virtual assistant can comprehend complicated commands given in natural languages and has artificial intelligence capabilities. In China, it is presently available in Samsung Galaxy W25 series smartphones. Other markets do not yet have access to this version of the virtual assistant, and the tech giant has not yet said when it may be added to its array of smartphones worldwide. W25 series is rebranded version of Galaxy Z fold 6 special edition and recently launched in South Korea and China.

Samsung has Unveiled its latest Bixby Voice assistant with AI capabilities and is available on Galaxy W25 which is rebranded name for Galaxy Z fold 6 special edition which is launched in China and for now it is available to fold 6 special edition, there has no details of its release on other smartphones but we believe soon its going to launch for other Galaxy series. In January Samsung is going to release S25 series with that we might also see Bixby voice assistant launch.
Samsung Bixby features
For the most part, the new Bixby should function similarly to the present version. Asking it for the weather, checking your calendar, playing music, sending a text, bringing up a certain setting, and more are all possible with its help. AI, which is now extensively included into the Bixby experience, is the primary distinction between the previous and current iterations. Like ChatGPT and Google Gemini, it uses generative AI to provide answers. However, Samsung use its own AI model rather than a third-party one.
One notable aspect of this revised Bixby is its enhanced capacity to understand the context of natural language commands, which enables it to process increasingly intricate instructions. According to Samsung, the AI-powered Bixby can provide both text and video responses to inquiries. But rather than creating videos on its own, it selects the most pertinent videos from the internet. Furthermore, this virtual assistant has the ability to translate webpages and store its results in Word and PowerPoint, among other Microsoft Office formats. So make sure you have MS office apps to open the file.
In addition to its features, the next-generation Bixby has a redesigned user interface. Images on the product website show that customers may access the assistant in full-screen mode, with a white, basic style and a text input area at the bottom. The assistant may be accessed from any screen on the smartphone and can be used with voice and text instructions.
