The OnePlus 13R will be released internationally after the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro debut in China. Only available in China, the exclusive OnePlus Ace 5 Pro may not be released elsewhere. OnePlus Ace 5 series Specs leaked
The OnePlus 13R or OnePlus Ace 5 is soon going to launch in China and worldwide in the month of December 2024. This new smartphone will feature a redesigned back panel, which is quite similar to the OnePlus 13, and its tipster is Smart Pikachu on Weibo. This time, the steel plate on the rear of the OnePlus 13 has been removed in order to replace the camera module. Thus, the only component left on the phone is the circular camera module. The OnePlus Ace 5 will have a metal frame and a ceramic body. Additionally, it is anticipated that the smartphone would have a sizable battery, perhaps ranging from 6,500 mAh to 6,300 mAh. This would surpass the 5,000mAh battery of the OnePlus Ace 5.
OnePlus will be powered by the old Qualcomm processor, i.e., Snapdragon 8 gen 3, while the OnePlus 5 Ace Pro will be powered by the latest chipset, Snapdragon 8 Elite. We already mentioned that Ace 5 Pro will be exclusive to China.
Ace 5 could feature a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the OLED display might be from BOE (a Chinese display manufacturing company). and Ace 5 Pro will use BOEX2 display with same resolution. Additionally, a 50MP Sony IMX906 primary camera and a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 telephoto sensor are said to be included in the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro. Both models will include a metal frame, an optical fingerprint scanner, a “1.5K” flat screen, and 100W wired charging capability.
