Mahindra XEV 9e price in India
With the base model, known as Pack One, beginning at Rs 21.90 lakh (ex-showroom), Mahindra & Mahindra has introduced the electric coupe-SUV XEV 9e. The business also launched the BE 6e in addition to the XEV 9e. Later on, the whole pricing list will be made public. The New Mahindra XEV 9e is the larger and expensive one launched based on the electric-only platform.
Mahindra XEV 9e Specs
The dimensions of the Mahindra XEV 9e are 1,690mm in height, 1,905mm in width, and 4,790mm in length. It also has a larger wheelbase (2,775mm) than the XUV700 (2,750mm). According to Mahindra, the XEV 9e has a turning diameter of 10 meters and a ground clearance of 207 mm.
The headlamp clusters are connected by the XEV 9e LED light bar, which runs over the front. It also has a powerful shoulder line, flat door handles, and aero-optimized 19-inch alloy wheels that increase range; 20-inch alloy wheels are an option. Whereas the 20-inch wheels have 245/50 R20 tires, the 19-inch wheels have 245/55 R19 tires. The spare tire, which is 135/80 R18 in size, saves space. The SUV’s linked LED taillights are located just beneath the boot spoiler at the back.
Mahindra XEV 9e Screen and other specs
The Mahindra XEV 9e boasts remarkable efficiency between 400 and 465 V, with an outstanding LFP energy density of 141.5 Wh/kg. As the brand tested in various key regions of the nation, Mahindra guarantees over 500 km per charge even with air conditioning in urban settings, while the smaller 59 kWh LFP battery option offers an ARAI-certified range of 656 km on a single charge. Each of the three screens in the XEV 9e’s unique three-screen arrangement is 12.3 inches and has a 1920×720 resolution. The Adrenox software from Mahindra powers the displays. Mahindra’s Artificial Intelligence Architecture, or MAIA, powers the vehicle’s connection. Operating on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8295 CPU, the device has 128GB of storage and 24GB of RAM. 5G capabilities, Bluetooth 5.2, are examples of connectivity characteristics.
Three large 12.3-inch displays that span 1.1 meters across the dashboard are the focal point of the interior’s luxury experience design. The luxury ambience is further enhanced with a wide panoramic glass roof with multi-ambient lighting and a head-up display with AI functions.
The SUV coupe is outfitted with top-tier technology, including a powerful Snapdragon cockpit that is regarded as one of the most potent and sophisticated in the whole automobile industry, as well as MAIA-enabled advanced cloud-based services. WiFi 6.0, sixth-generation Adreno technology, 5G capabilities, and a high-end 16-speaker high-performance audio system all contribute to the further improved connectivity.

Mahindra XEV 9e Speakers and other features
This one comes with panoramic sunroof and 16 harman kardon speakers which supports Dolby Atmos and a HUD (heads up display). Blind spot monitoring, a 360-degree camera, a Level 2 ADAS suite, and seven airbags are among the safety features. Additionally, the XEV has parking assistance, which enables the vehicle to park itself.
According to Mahindra, the base model, known as Pack One, would have a tyre pressure monitor, an automatic parking brake, a rearview camera, and six airbags. Push-button start, linked car technology, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 60:40 split-folding back seats, automatic headlights and wipers, rear AC vents, height-adjustable driver’s seat and seat belt, and Type C charging outlets are some of the key features.
Mahindra XEV 9e Battery
Both the BE 6 and XEV 9e have 59kWh and 79kWh LFP (Lithium-iron phosphate) batteries, and the first set of buyers will receive a lifetime guarantee on their battery packs. According to Mahindra, a 175kW DC fast charger can charge a 79kWh battery from 20 to 80 percent in under 20 minutes, but a 140kW DC fast charger requires 20 minutes to reach the same charge level for a 59kWh battery.
With an ARAI-certified range of 656 km (MIDC phase 1+2) and 533 km based on the WLTP cycle, Mahindra has disclosed the range of the 79kWh battery pack. Even with the air conditioner operating, the business says the 79kWh battery pack has a real-world range of more than 500km.
The XEV 9e is equipped with Mahindra’s three-in-one powertrain, which combines the gearbox, inverter, and motor into one unit. One motor located on the back axle powers the XEV. While the 79kWh battery pack variations generate 282bhp of peak output, the 59kWh battery pack produces 228bhp. The XEV can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds because to its bigger battery pack. Front and rear disc brakes with a brake-by-wire system are standard on the XEV 9e.
