Good news for Middle-class people Hero's New Glamor launch

Good news for Middle-class people, Hero’s New Glamor launch will have new engines, and it will come with 4 new variants. Hero Motocorp has recently launched a new OBD-2B version of Glamor in India. The new engines are here because of changes in OBD-2B emissions. Back in 2016, the Government of India rolled out a circular for all vehicles, including two-wheelers. All the vehicles must comply with the Onboard Diagnostic device (OBD) from April 1, 2020, as a part of BS6 emission norms.

The motorcycle engine has undergone internal modifications to meet OBD-2B emission standards. Its price has also gone up by Rs 2,000. Four different versions of this motorcycle have been introduced. Let’s know what each of these X-showrooms costs are.

Disc brake OBD-2B costs- Rs. 90,698ย
Drum Brake OBD-2B costs- Rs. 86,698ย
Disc brake costs- Rs. 88,698ย
Drum brakes cost- Rs. 84,698ย

Its emission specifications remained unchanged even after the engine was replaced. Its air-cooled, 124.7cc motor produces 10.39 horsepower and 10.4 Nm of torque. It has a five-speed gearbox attached to it. The petrol tank on this motorcycle holds 10 liters. The curb weight of the motorcycle is 121.3 kg.

About other motorcycle accessories, the Glamor has 18-inch alloy wheels that are supported by a dual spring with a five-step preload adjustment and a telescopic fork. There are options for both drum-drum and disc-drum braking setups. In terms of features, the Glamor is a relatively basic motorcycle.

It features a USB charging connector, a digital console with a real-time fuel consumption indicator, an LED headlamp, and hazard lighting. Three color options will be available for the bike’s disc brake variant: candy flaming red, black metallic silver, and techno blue matte black. Additionally, a black-sports red color option is added to the drum brake variant.
