Nothing Sub-brand CMF is gearing up for its new smartphone, and is soon going to launch in India. The brand recently released a teaser on the X platform. Although the company has not disclosed its name, there are rumors that the CMF Phone 2, a potential replacement for the CMF Phone 1 from the previous year, may soon be unveiled. Flipkart is going to sell it.
CMF Phone 2 launch date in India
CMF has posted a teaser on the social media platform X with coming soon tag. The video shows that CMF Phone 2 will have a single camera setup; earlier, it had a dual camera system on CMF Phone 1. The camera is vertically arranged and has a flash placed below it. But don’t worry it does not have a single camera. According to rumors, it might have a triple camera setup.
Although the tweet doesn’t say the smartphone’s precise name or release date, it is expected that the CMF Phone 2, which has been circulating rumors for a few weeks, will make its appearance shortly. Prior leaks have suggested that the phone will have three back cameras. CMF used Pokémon posters to tout new items last week. It is anticipated that the phone will be linked to the codename Bulbasaur.
Additionally, Flipkart launched a webpage for the anticipated CMF smartphone. Additionally, it displays the phone’s camera module with the caption, “in search of the perfect shot.” According to the listing, the new phone will be sold through the internet marketplace.
The CMF Phone 1, the first smartphone under the Nothing sub-brand, was released in July of last year. The base model, which came with 6GB of RAM and storage and 128GB of storage, cost Rs. 15,999. The cost of the CMF Phone 2 is probably going to be comparable. There is no official release date of the smartphone in India, but we can assume it might be released in the 2nd quarter of 2025.
CMF Phone 2 with MediaTek Dimensity chipset
Earlier this week, an unverified CAD render of the gadget surfaced, indicating that the CMF Phone 2 will include a triple camera configuration. Rumor has it that the CMF Phone 2 will come with a 6.3-inch OLED (FHD+ 120Hz), a 5,000 mAh battery that can be charged with 33W, and MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 CPU.
