The 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display that comes with the Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G. With 393 ppi, the resolution is 1080×2436 pixels (FHD+). Without a doubt, the exhibit shines brightly both inside and outside during the day. The display has a punch hole design at the front and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The 120Hz display functions well and is fluid.

The build quality of the smartphone is impressive; it comes with a plastic back or vegan leather. There are two color options: Obsidian Black and Vintage Green. The smartphone is splashproof thanks to its IP53 rating, and by the way, it’s also dustproof.

Performance:

The Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7020, which is based on 6nm, yes, not 4nm. There are other options in this category where you can use a 4nm process processor. The graphics that have been used are IMG BXM-8-256. The best thing is that you get 12GB of RAM in your smartphone, which is higher than any smartphone in this price range.

The processor is capable of handling day-to-day tasks, but once you start gaming, there’s a big problem, like if you are playing PUBG Mobile, it stutters. It’s not bad, but it’s noticeable. To get a smooth experience, use balanced graphics.

Camera:

The Infinix Note 40 Pro Plus 5G comes with a triple camera setup: 108 MP f/1.75, wide angle, primary camera, 2 MP f/2.4, macro camera, and 2 MP f/2.4, depth camera. It has various camera features like 10x digital zoom, 3x optical zoom, auto flash, face detection, and touch to focus. You can record video up to 1080p at 60FPS and 1440p at 30FPS. Other features, like dual video recording mode and short video mode, are also present.

If we talk about pictures taken from this smartphone, it delivers solid detail and produces accurate (but not always) colors. Even in low light, we don’t see that much noise; instead, it takes impressive photos in low light conditions. But  video recording in low light is not that good. The 32 MP selfie camera takes impressive photos; the details are sharp, and it produces good colors. In low light it takes decent selfie photos.

It also has its chatbot called Folax. Although ChatGPT already offers an Android chatbot app, Folax offers more than simply clever replies from an intelligent algorithm. It uses OpenAI’s GPT-3.5 model to decipher complex instructions and carry out tasks sequentially.

The only problem is it can provide incorrect answers because it has ChatGPT 3.5 training data which is up to July 2021 but Folax also provides data after July 2021 which is unreliable.

Battery:

The Note 40 Pro Plus’s All-Round FastCharge 2.0 technology, which is enabled by Infinix’s first in-house Cheetah X1 chip, is a noteworthy feature. To maintain the health of your battery, this phone also contains a few clever functions. “Low-Temp Charge” reduces charging speed to extend battery life, and “Smart Charge” modifies charging speed to avoid overheating. Using the latter setting does result in a slightly longer charging time for the phone, but overall battery life is well worth the trade-off. It takes 29 mins to charge battery to full 100%, and it took 40 mis to fully charge from zero in low temp charge mode.

It also has Magsafe like apple infinix calls it Magkit which includes magpad and a 3000mAh MagPower Power bank. The only downside is it has 4600mAh battery, it should have 5000mAh in my opinion.

While gaming the battery will drain so be careful with that.
